La Piuma Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is a traditionally produced wine; the grapes are carefully hand-picked, generally between the end of September and early October. In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed. After the fermentation, the final product is a beautiful red wine with a bright and really deep color. The nose has notes of dark cherry and raspberry with interesting notes of pepper and hints of vanilla. The mouthfeel is structured thanks to its full body character. The finish is elegant and long with a nice level of acidity. Excellent with pasta, pizza and every kind of meat.
